Box 31465 <br /> Stockton, CA 95213 <br /> Re: March Lane Shell, 1206 E March Lane, Stockton, CA 95210 SR0069024 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of <br /> the application for a permit to conduct a cold start after "unrecoverable data error' on the <br /> underground storage tank (UST) system at the above noted address. The permit has been <br /> approved with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br /> District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Elena Manzo at (209) 953-7699 to arrange the following inspection <br /> appointments (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be <br /> aware that inspections for emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit <br /> approval. <br /> a. Sensor functionality: Functionality of the monitoring system, including functionality <br /> of all sensors and audible/ visual alarms (since they are part of the overfill <br /> protection), must be verified to ensure that monitoring has been restored to meet the <br /> requirements of Title 23 California Code of Regulations and the Health & Safety <br /> Code. A copy of the alarm history, printed prior to the "cold start" of the Veeder Root <br /> system, shall be made available at the time of EHD inspection. <br /> 4. Qualified service technicians must possess or work under the direct and personal <br /> supervision of an individual physically present at the work site who possesses all of the <br /> following: <br /> a. One of several permissible valid, current contractor's licenses issued by the <br /> Contractors State License Board (may be issued to the installation company), or a <br /> Tank Tester's license issued to the individual by the State Water Board, and <br /> b. A valid, current California UST Service Technician certificate issued by the <br /> International Code Council (ICC), and <br /> c. A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component(s) <br /> being tested, repaired, or serviced. <br />
