FAX NO. 25,04603 P. 06 <br /> tell," A1000 Automatic Overfill <br /> Prevention System <br /> "Operation Procedure" t <br /> Nate: This system will only be activated in the event of an overfilled underground tank and is w 1 <br /> present to prevent such a situation. it will not intetrupt a normal delivery process. <br /> Standard Operation Orocedure <br /> "Normal" (1) Remove lid from At 000 system. <br /> (2) Fully lift up on reset arm (fl) and release to make sure <br /> valve poppet has been reset to open flow position. (See diagram on reverse.) <br /> (3) Make appropriate hose connections and,proceed to unload fuel. <br /> (4) Once unloading process has been completed and the drop elbow has been dis- <br /> connected, any spillage may be drained Into the tank by pulling up on the man- <br /> hole pull drain (#2) & replacing adapter cap and manhole lid. <br /> "Overfill" Important: It the valve closes before the truck compartment is emptied, (noticeable <br /> by line shock movement in drop hose and no•ilow), do the following: <br /> (4a) Close the tank truck valve. <br /> (4b) Fuliy lift up on the reset arm and place into drain position (;rt) <br /> (4c) Disconnect the hose from the truck and drain the hose into the underground tank. <br /> (4d) Remove the reset arm from the drain position (01) . <br /> (4e) Disconnect the elbows, drain spillage by;pulling up on pull drain (02) & replace <br /> the adapter cap and manhole lid. <br /> "Test" To test the system, do the following: <br /> (1) Proceed to unload fuel as under standard condition, allowing approximately 30 <br /> seconds for flow rate to surpass 150 gpm. <br /> (2) Push down on Test Sutton (#3) to activate valve. Flow will now stop. <br /> (3) Simply reset valve by fully lifting up on reset arm (#1) and release to continue to <br /> unload. <br /> ' sona.imo I <br />
