Respiratory Program Evaluation <br /> This instruction provides the directive, responsibilities and requirements for conducting the <br /> KroekerIncorporated Enviresponse Respiratory Protection Program. Itis written in accordance <br /> with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Respiratory Protection <br /> ' Regulation (29 CFR 1910.134). <br /> ' 1. Responsibilities <br /> The responsibilities for enforcing the Kroeker Incorporated Respiratory Protection <br /> Program are the project managers, health and safety deputies, field supervisors and <br /> individual workers. The Health and Safety Officer is designated the program authority, in <br /> his absence, an alternate may be provided. <br /> 2. Purchase of Equipment <br /> ' KI will purchase respiratory protective equipment that is approved only for the particular <br /> contaminant that is present, for which it will be worn. An approved respirator is one that <br /> has been tested and found to meet minimum standards by the Mine Safety and Health <br /> Administration (MSHA) and the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health <br /> (NIOSH).
