Although I do not have the concrete evidence we are seeking...I wanted to get back to you to let you know I was working on it. Re: 1. If we can find documentation that says the funnel we are using is compatible with the fluid generated from the filter that will be accepted. I am currently in touch with Hopkins Manufacturing to assist us in verifying that the funnel we used as a splash guard, see attached photo, is predominantly a polypropylene product and totally compatible with gasoline and diesel fuel, see attached chemical compatibility chart, pages 4/13, 5/13, and 13/13. I expect to hear back from the Manufacturer either later today or sometime tomorrow. 2. I understand the manufacture of the pump was contacted and they said there is no existing device made. If we can get an email or something from them saying there is no device available for the purpose the County is asking they will may accept that as well. 1
