Fuel Spill Policy <br /> If the spill is not MANAGEABLE : <br /> r <br /> 1. Activate the emergency shut off switch and divert traffic <br /> 2. Notify the local fire department (911) and manager on duty <br /> 3. Evacuate all non-essential people from the immediate area <br /> 4. Eliminate fire sources - Do not start vehicle engines <br /> 5. Wearing PPE (gloves and goggles), prevent the spill from <br /> entering storm drains by using approved absorbent <br /> materials and drain mat <br /> 6. Report the spill to Veeder Root (800/997-7725) <br /> 7. Report the spill to Risk Management (925/944-4312) <br /> 8. Complete and retain Fuel Spill Information Report <br />
