The permit has been approved with
the following conditions:
1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for any
applicable permits and requirements.
2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to
commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones.
3. Contact Stacy Rivera at(209)468-3440 to arrange the following appointments(a 48-hour notice is
required for inspection appointments).
• Leak detector test: Leak detector must be tested to confirm that the device can detect a leak of 3
gallons per hour at 10 psi.
• Spill bucket test: Verify minimum 5-gallon capacity and pass a one hour hydrostatic test(or
equivalent). Proper drainage must also be verified.
• Corrosion protection:Verify corrosion protection for direct bury spill bucket prior to backfilling.
Please be aware that the facility cannot operate the UST system prior to the EHD inspection
and approval.
Please be aware that the facility cannot receive fuel in the diesel tank prior to the EHD
inspection and approval.
4. Since concrete will be broken near the diesel tank, a secondary containment test must be performed
on the diesel tank once concrete is poured in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines.
1868 E.
