Hwy 99, Stockton Program: UST <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Corn I <br /> This is the report of the routine and annual monitoring certification inspection. The following violations <br /> were observed: #5, 10 & 12, 13, 21 <br /> 5. The response plan on site is not current. The response plan must be current and approved by the <br /> EHD. A copy of the current response plan was submitted on site and was approved by EHD, and an <br /> approved copy returned to you for your records. Retain a copy of the approved plan at the facility. This <br /> violation has been corrected on site. <br /> 10 & 12. The 87/diesel octane annular sensor failed to activate an audible and visual alarm when tested <br /> and, therefore, the tank is not monitored. The interstitial space shall be monitored with a monitoring <br /> system connected to an audible and visual alarm system. The sensor was replaced and retested during <br /> the inspection. Obtain a permit from the EHD for this work within one business day. If a permit is not <br /> obtained within one business day, a "Failure to Obtain a Permit' penalty will apply. <br /> 13. The Bravo box float and chain in the UST Dispenser UDC sump failed to stop the flow of product at <br /> the dispenser when tested. All monitoring equipment shall be maintained to activate an audible and <br /> visual alarm or stop the flow of product at the dispenser when it detects a leak. The service technician <br /> adjusted the chain and verified functionality. This violation has been corrected on site. <br /> 21. Liquid was observed in the 87-octane sump. If water could enter into the secondary containment by <br /> precipitation or infiltration, it must be removed and disposed of properly. The liquid, about 1/3 gallon, <br /> was removed by technician and disposed to a hazardous waste container. Ensure that the sump is <br /> maintained free of liquid. This violation has been corrected on site. <br /> NOTES <br /> About 1/3 gallon of liquid which technician on site stated to be water from condensation, was removed <br /> by technician from the underground secondary piping at the dispenser connected to the diesel above <br /> ground tanks (AST). The water in the piping was not high enough to trigger the two AST sensors, which <br /> were also tested and functionality was verified today. The liquid was disposed to hazardous waste <br /> container. <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE($122). <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME A EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> EH Insp ct <br /> Received By: Title: <br /> CONTINUATION FORM <br /> EHD 23-02-003 Rev 08/10110 <br />
