Utilizing the sampling ports that are installed in the soil vapor samples are <br /> extracted from the sampling ports and analyzed for the presents of the chemical <br /> marker. <br /> iv. If either the second or third chemical maker is found in the soil vapor sample a <br /> leak is declared and the leak location will be identified. <br /> 6. Single Wall Containment Testing: <br /> a. As in a double wall test, sampling ports are installed in the soil. <br /> b. If a leak is present,the chemical marker will exit the primary containment and enter into <br /> the surrounding soil. <br /> c. Soil vapor samples are extracted from the soil sampling ports and analyzed for the <br /> presence of the second chemical marker. <br /> d. If the chemical marker is found, a leak is declared and the location of the leak will be <br /> identified. <br /> 7. Spill Bucket Testing: <br /> a. Spill Buckets are hydro-statically tested. A loss in water level indicates a leak within <br /> the spill bucket. <br /> b. If a leak is detected the contractor will be required to repair the spill bucket. <br /> Reporting: <br /> 1. Reports consist of a two page written document summarizing the data collected at each site, by <br /> system, certifying each system individual.
