0
Vicki McCartney [EH]
From: Scott Covey <scott@coveyengineeringinc.com>
Sent: Tuesday, May 30, 2017 3:53 PM
To: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Subject: RE: 1535 Pescadero Ave, Tracy CA
Attachments: Photo204jpg
Hi Vicki,
As reported previously there are numerous reasons why we are convinced that the reservoir is already present. First, the
manufacturer has researched and confirmed that for us. Second, the reservoir can be physically measured from grade,
at any time, by any technician. (Tanks without this raised, factory reservoir have a very different measurement). Third,
we have physically seen the reservoir, when Elite IV was working on this tank several years ago (see permit
#SR0059819); myself, on site staff personnel, Elite IV techs, as well as Doug from Petroleum Technical Solutions, all have
visually seen the reservoir on this Gear Oil tank. Fourth, I've attached a photo of it, but the clarity is not really good
enough to ascertain solely from the photo. Lastly, if the contractor (CGRS) goes out there to start this work, they'll stop
immediately if the annular space does not have the reservoir.
So it seems we've done our due diligence in looking into this, but please let me know what else you folks need, and we'll
do our best to try to accommodate.
Thanks,
Scott C.......
From: Vicki McCartney [EH] [mailto:vmccartney@sicehd.com]
Sent: Tuesday, May 30, 2017 3:19 PM
To: Scott Covey <scott@coveven¢inee rineinc.com>
Subject: RE: 1535 Pescadero Ave, Tracy CA
Hi Scott,
Within the last fifteen minutes I was asked to find out how you plan to verify that a reservoir is present. Is that annular
sensor in a sump?
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Phone: (209) 468-9852
Email: vmccartnev(&sicehd.com
From: Scott Covey[mailto:scott(cbcovevenaineeringinc.com]
Sent: Tuesday, May 30, 2017 2:57 PM
