Manzo [EH]
Service Request for YRC, 1535 Pescadera Avenue, Tracy
I do hope that you had a relaxing couple of days off work.
On July 13th , I received an unexpected conference call from Ruben Byerley, Manager -Environmental Services and
Properties YRC Freight, and Scott Covey, contractor, concerning the conversion of the gear oil tank from "dry" to "wet"
by adding brine. Scott said that the contractor that he had lined up to add the brine to the gear tank is no longer
available. Scott said that this whole process has taken so long and that is the reason that the contractor that was hired
to install the brine is no longer getting involved. Scott asked that I check with 'my management' to see if anything else
needs to be done other than getting the certification from Containment Solutions for the service technician hired to
install the brine.
Will you review the information for SR0076997 one more time to see if anything else is needed, other than the service
tech's Containment Solutions certification? I told Scott and Ruben that I would get back to them once I have heard from
management concerning this matter. Scott is looking for a new contractor to install the brine.
I have the approval letter ready to go once we get the service tech's Containment Solution's certification, if that is all
that is needed.
Thanks, Elena.
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Phone: (209) 468-9852
Email: vmccartnev(&.sicehd.com
