Garcia
Subject: RE: Thornton 76: 8606 Thornton Road, Stockton, CA
Hi Eric,
I am attaching the old Form A and Bs as a pdf file.
There are two other outstanding issues regarding this site:
1) A contractor, Elite IV, has an approved permit to replace a line leak detector on the 91 product tank but has
not called me to inspect and witness the testing of the leak detector. The permit was approved on Dec 6. If this
leak detector has been installed, the contractor needs to contact me ASAP for an inspection of the leak detector.
2) The secondary containment testing for the site was done on Oct 18 by Tanknology. The tank annulars failed
the vacuum test for all three tanks. The tanks need to be repaired and retested ASAP. The tank repairs will
require a permit from my department before the repairs are done.
Thx,
Garrett Backus, REHS
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
600 E.
