SECTION H
SITE SECURITY PLAN
H1.0 INTRODUCTION
The purpose of controlling access to the work area is to:
• Protect the public
• Protect the airport facility property
• Secure equipment and materials left on site
• Eliminate the chance of spreading contamination
• Assume worker safety
This Site-specific Security Plan has been developed to assure the above are to be
implemented during field work.
• H2.0 SITE CONTROL
CKY will provide the security office with a list of onsite workers and vehicle types with
license numbers and will obtain visitor passes if required at the site. All personnel
working at the site will be required to sign on a standard sign-in sheet and observe
security measures imposed by the Tracy Municipal Airport. CKY will coordinate with the
COR prior to any deliveries by vendors or mobilization on site by the subcontractors.
The work area will be delineated and divided into a exclusion zone, a contamination
reduction zone, and a support zone. The exclusion zone will be maintained around the
work area by placement of signs, barricades, and yellow tape as necessary. The size
and the shape of the exclusion zone will be determined by the site conditions, and will
be large enough to include the potentially hazardous zone around the site.
CKY will place yellow barricade tape around the excavation areas anytime the work area
is left unattended and until the excavation is backfilled to its original surface level.
Equipment and materials will also be stored inside the barricaded area to secure them
after hours. No flammable liquid will be stored onsite for safety reasons. Weatherproof
warning signs shall be attached to the barricade tape in compliance with California
Proposition 65 requirements. In addition, lighted barricade will be used from dusk to
dawn within the excavation area.
H-1
