If notification is not made to this office prior to testing the results will not be accepted. Results <br /> from the above testing must be sent to this office within 30 days of the test completion. It is the <br /> responsibility of the owner/operator to have all test results submitted to this office by January <br /> 31,2003. <br /> It is recommended that you schedule these tests in advance, due to contractor/technician availability. <br /> An underground storage tank operating permit will not be issued to owners/operators who have not <br /> performed this required testing by the January 1, 2003 deadline. You shall not operate an underground <br /> storage tank system without a permit [Health& Safety Code(HSC) Section 25284]. <br /> If you have an underground storage tank system in which the secondary containment can not be tested <br /> you must replace the secondary containment system,under a permit from this office,with a system that <br /> can be tested by December 31,2002 [CCR Section 2637 (a)(1)]. <br /> Enclosed is a list of known contractors/technicians currently performing secondary containment testing <br /> in San Joaquin County.
