Stockton Promenade—N Edison3Creet USTs& Utility Corridors • Page 19
Underground Storage Tank Removal Report June 8,2009
IWKA No, 7345.09
underground utilities are physical constraints to further lateral assessment of the Former N.
Edison Street UST area. Because remaining subsurface conditions are in an area that has
significant access limitations and will remain a permanent commercial corridor for public use,
the City of Stockton will request the RWQCB to place a deed restriction on the former N. Edison
Street UST area, as well as for a section of the Tuleberg Levee Road where underground utilities
were recently installed.
1 The RWQCB is currently providing regulatory oversight of the removal and/or mitigation of
identified subsurface petroleum impacts as part of the Stockton Promenade construction project.
Should the RWQCB request further groundwater characterization of those areas; studies should
' factor in prior and future land use, the potential overlap of historical petroleum release source(s)
resulting from other nearby properties, and the potential relationship of groundwater with surface
water from the Stockton Channel.
9.0 LIMITATIONS
The statements and conclusions in this report are based upon the scope of work described above
Land on observations made on the dates of our fieldwork. The work was performed using a
degree of skill consistent with that of competent environmental consulting fines performing
I similar work in the area. No recommendation is made as to the suitability of the property for any
purpose. The results of our investigation do not preclude the possibility that materials currently,
or in the future, defined as hazardous are present on the property. This report is applicable only
to the investigated property and should not be used for any other property. No warranty is
expressed or implied.
1
1
