Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br /> District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Garrett Backus to arrange the following inspections(a 48 hour notice is <br /> required): <br /> a. Verify corrosion protection on the fill riser and spill container before back <br /> filling. <br /> b. One hour hydrostatic test(or equivalent)on the spill container. <br /> c. Verify the drain valve operation of the spill container. <br /> d. Verify the five gallon capacity of the spill container. <br /> 4. Qualified service technicians must possess or work under the direct and personal <br /> supervision of an individual physically present at the work site who possesses all of the <br /> following: <br /> a. One of several permissible valid,current contractor's licenses issued by the <br /> Contractors State License Board(may be issued to the installation company),and <br /> b. A valid,current California UST Service Technician certificate issued by the <br /> International Code Council(ICC),and <br /> c. A valid,current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s)of the <br /> component(s)being tested,repaired,or serviced,and <br /> d. Each person installing or testing any component must hold a certificate of <br /> training from the manufacturer of that component. <br /> 5. Qualified installers must possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an <br /> individual physically present at the work site,at all times while work is being performed, <br /> who possesses all of the following: <br /> Page I of 2 <br />
