(Work area <br /> will be posted) . <br /> All hoses, couplings, fixtures, etc. shall be properly bonded and <br /> grounded. <br /> Heat stress/Cold Recognize warning signs. <br /> Stress <br /> Heavy equipment Before any machinery or mechanized equipment is placed into service, <br /> operations it shall be inspected and tested by a competent mechanic and <br /> certified to be in safe operating condition. <br /> Equipment shall be inspected before being placed into service and at <br /> the beginning of each shift. <br /> Preventive maintenance procedures recommended by the manufacturer <br /> shall be followed. <br /> All lockout-tagout procedures shall be used for equipment found to <br /> be faulty or undergoing maintenance. <br /> Machinery and mechanized equipment shall be operated only by <br /> designated personne. <br /> Getting off or on any equipment while it is in motion is prohibited. <br /> Machinery or equipment requiring an opertor shall not be permitted <br /> to run unattended. <br /> Machinery or equipment will not be operated in a manner that will <br /> endanger persons or property nor wil lthe safe operating speeds or <br />
