The TLM will be able to detect (in the tank integrity mode) a minimum
of a 0.20 gallon per hour leak while compensating for temperature
changes within the tank with a probability of leak detection of 95
percent and probability of false alarms of 5 percent;
4. The TLM system will be Level TRU (Model No. 10600) by Environment and
Safety, Inc., Veeder-Root TLS -350 with magnetostrictive probe, or
equal;
5. Install overspill protection device at each tank. The overspill
protection device will be Skyway (Model No. 85000), Emco Wheaton
A1003, or equal;
6. No pipeline leak detector is required because both pumps are suction -type;
7. Install only one check valve in the suction line directly below and
as close as practical to the suction pump. Remove any other existing
check valves.
GROUNDWATER
This facility is located in the San Joaquin Valley Groundwater Basin.
