This work was authorized by Mr. Scott Barde on June 7, <br /> 1993. <br /> SAMPLE COLLECTION - . <br /> On June 4, 1993, Converse collected five soil samples from below five <br /> separate areas noted in the Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment dated <br /> April 27, 1993. These areas were excavated to a depth of 1/2 to 1 foot below <br /> the surface in an effort to remove soil which was visibly stained with <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons., The sample locations and designations are <br /> shown on Drawing 2. The samples were collected from depths ranging <br /> from 1/2 to 1 foot below grade using Converse's Standard Operating <br /> Procedures (Appendix A). The soil samples were transported under chain- <br /> of-custody documentation to a State-certified lab for analysis for Total <br /> Recoverable Petroleum Hydrocarbons by EPA method 418.1. <br /> I <br /> I <br /> A wholly owrned Suesid,ary of <br />
