(U.L. 58) .
b. Piping and fittings for Primary and Secondary Containment: Pipelines are
fiberglass, A.O. Smith Red Thread II (U.L. 069151) .
c. Corrosion protection: The Steel tanks are coated with a UL approved coal tar
epoxy treatment which resists corrosion and are equipped with sacraficial anodes
which protect the tanks from corrosion.
d. Compatibility: Stored materials are compatible with steel and/or fiberglass tank
construction and with steel and fiberglass piping. No sealing compounds will be
used which are not compatible with gasoline.
6. HAZARDOUS MATERIALS STORED AT THIS SITE:
DOT/HAZARDOUS
PRODUCT VOLUME CLASS
(1) Regular leaded 2,000 gallons max. FL,/la
(2) Waste oil 2,000 gallons max.
7. SEPARATION OF MATERIAL: Every precaution is taken to prevent mixture of products.
Each petroleum product grade is stored in individual tanks with individual pipelines
to dispensers. Each storage tank has a product and capacity tag attached to the fill
tube. Manhole covers are painted with identifying color code. Should the products be
mixed by accident, a more hazardous situation would not exist.
There will not be any cutting or welding of materials permitted anywhere on the
premises during construction or normal operating conditions.
8. MONITORING PLAN:
a.
