difference and have calendared our future tests to comply with your department's regulations, as
well as those of SJVAPCD. As you know, we passed all of tests done that day, and copies of
the paperwork from the testing firm stating so are enclosed (Enclosure #3).
On 10/31/05, the testing firm returned to perform Drop Tube Integrity and Static Torque and
Rotation Testing. Again, we passed the testing for this 3-year requirement, and a copy of that
test result is also enclosed (Enclosure #4).
Additionally, 3-year testing was completed on 11/8/05 for SB 989 (Secondary Containment)
Testing of Tank and Piping double-walled spaces, Sumps, and Under-Dispenser Containment.
All passed, and a summary of the test results from the on-site technician is enclosed
(Enclosure #5). Official test results will be forwarded to your office when they are received.
We had been given, per your inspection report, until 11/27/05 to return to compliance. However,
as of this writing, we believe everything is corrected. It is our understanding that our actions
taken and this response provide all that is needed to renew our permit effective 12/31/05.
Please consider this letter as our statement that everything is in compliance. If anything is
unclear, something on an enclosure raises a question, or anything else is needed, please let me
know.
Also, if your office would prefer to schedule a re-inspection to make sure that everything is
satisfactory, we will accommodate that. Please call me at (209) 333-6800, ext. 2690, or e-mail
(dcallahanCa)lodi.gov) if you would like to do so, in order that I may plan to be available. Thank
you.
