There must be at least one <br />emergency coordinator on site or on call to coordinate emergency response measures, and the following <br />information must be posted by a phone: the name and phone number of the emergency coordinator; location of fire <br />extinguishers, spill control equipment, and if present, fire alarm; and the phone number of the fire department, <br />unless the facility has a direct alarm. Immediately appoint an emergency coordinator and post the required <br />information by a phone. A form is provided that can be used for this purpose. <br />This was corrected on site. <br />This was corrected on site. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />106 <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to train employees on waste handling and emergency procedures. <br />At the time of inspection, it could not be demonstrated (not necessarily documented) that employees who handle <br />hazardous waste were properly trained. Mr. Taranjit Romana was not able to explain how to properly clean up a <br />hazardous waste spill. The generator must ensure that all employees who handle hazardous waste are thoroughly <br />familiar with proper waste handling and emergency procedures. Provide proof of training to the EHD for employees <br />whose responsibilities include hazardous waste. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />110 <br />CCR 66262.40(a) Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. <br />At time of inspection, no hazardous waste disposal records could be located. According to Mr. Taranjit Romana, two <br />55 -gallon drums that had hazardous waste labels were removed by Shell a couple months ago. Generators of <br />hazardous waste must maintain hazardous waste manifest for a minimum of 3 years. Provide to the EHD copies of <br />hazardous waste manifest for the past 3 years. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by October 23, 2017. <br />Note: Fuel filters are being removed from site without a bill of lading or receipt.
