All facility communications or alarm systems, fire protection equipment, spill <br /> control equipment, and decontamination equipment, where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to <br /> assure its proper operation in time of emergency. Immediately conduct all necessary testing and maintenance on the <br /> fire extinguisher(s) at this facility and begin this practice for all emergency equipment. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d) Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> A 55 gallon blue steel drum of hazardous waste liquid was observed on site. According to the facility contacts, this <br /> facility has not generated waste liquids in over six months. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous <br /> waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 <br /> days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a <br /> copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> A 55 gallon blue steel drum of hazardous waste liquid was observed in the hazardous waste storage area with a blank <br /> hazardous waste label. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties <br /> - physical state (liquid, solid) <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label this container and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since this <br /> containers has been on site longer than 180 days, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose <br /> of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class Il. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> Bills of lading for the recycling of used oil filters for the last three years were not found on site. A copy of each bill of <br /> lading must be kept on site for at least three years.
