A 55 gallon black steel drum of spent absorbent was observed in the shop with no hazardous <br /> property or accumulation start date. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following <br /> information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" 4. physical state (liquid, solid) <br /> 2. name and address of generator 5. composition (contents) <br /> 3. hazardous properties (flammable, corrosive, reactive, toxic) 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all <br /> the required information. Since it cannot be determined how long the absorbent has been on site, <br /> immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and <br /> submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by February 4, 2013. <br /> REPEAT VIOLATION <br /> 610. A 55 gallon black steel drum of used filters was observed in the shop without a label. According to <br /> disposal records, filters were last hauled on April 25, 2012. Used oil filters must be stored in a closed, <br /> rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil and gasoline filters," and marked with an accumulation <br /> start date. Immediately label the filters and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. <br /> REPEAT VIOLATION <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAIUNG TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE <br /> Inspector.
