This facility does not have a valid EPA ID number to manage hazardous waste. A hazardous waste <br /> generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without <br /> an EPA ID number. Immediately obtain an EPA ID number to manage hazardous waste and submit <br /> evidence to the EHD. A form has been provided. <br /> 804 & 808. One 6' foot and two 4' foot fluorescent tubes were observed stored vertically and one 6' foot <br /> broken tube on the floor of the outdoor storage area at the rear of the building. In addition, they were <br /> unlabeled. Universal waste lamps shall be contained in a closed container or package that is structurally <br /> sound, adequate to prevent breakage, and compatible with the contents of the lamp. A generator shall <br /> label or mark universal waste with the words 'Universal Waste' and the type of waste (batteries, mercury <br /> containing equipment, lamps/bulbs, electronic devices, CRTs, CRT glass, aerosol cans). Immediately <br /> label these wastes and ensure that all universal wastes are labeled with the required information. <br /> Immediately containerize all universal waste fluorescent lamps/bulbs in accordance with Title 22 <br /> regulations. Since one of the bulbs are broken, immediately disposal all universal waste fluorescent tubes <br /> to an authorized hazardous waste facility.
