A review of these documents, completed between the time periods of 9/1/2003 to <br /> 12/31/2003, indicates the errors or omissions noted on the back of this letter. These errors and omissions <br /> are violations of California law. Because the Waste Tire Hauler Registration&Manifest Program is still <br /> new,we are not taking any enforcement action at this time. Future violations will result in a notice of <br /> violation and/or enforcement action, as appropriate. <br /> By giving you this notice,we hope to call attention to deficiencies that you should correct in future <br /> manifests and trip logs. Please make sure that these errors/omissions identified on the back of this letter <br /> will be corrected in the future by completely and accurately filling out the hauler portion of the Manifest <br /> (Part 1.)and Tire Trip Log forms. Further, as a hauler,y-)u must ensure that the Generator or End-Use <br /> Facility accurately completes Part H of the Manifest form. Transporting waste or used tires without a <br /> properly completed Manifest or Tire Trip Log form is a violation of Title 14, California Code of <br /> Regulation, §18460.2(h)as referenced below and is punishable by civil fines of up to$25,000 per <br /> violation [Public Resources Code, §42962(a)]. <br /> 18460.2.Waste Tire Manifest System Requirements for Registered Waste Tire Haulers. <br /> (h)The waste tire hauler shall not transport the used or waste tires without a properly completed <br /> Manifest Form and Tire Trip Log. <br /> Should you have any questions concerning this letter or have particular questions concerning the proper <br /> completion of the Manifest or Tire Trip Log Form(s),please call our toll free number at 866-896-0600 for <br /> further assistance. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Keith E.
