Barker[EH]
Cc: Jivtesh Gill
Subject: 2420 W Grant Line Road
Attachments: Return to Compliance Certification.pdf
Hi Zuna,
Per our conversation, I've attached the return to compliance certificate along with the work order in response
to Violation #313 which read:
Dripping fuel was observed in dispenser 7/8, liquid was observed in a light coating of the UDC beneath, and a
strong smell was noted at the UDC, indicating a leak in the primary piping. The rapid drip was only observed
while the pump was running. All primary containment for the UST system must be tight. Immediately have a
properly licensed, trained, and certified contractor repair or replace the failed component under permit and
inspection of the EHD.
Following this we had Elite IV Contractors come out. They found the fuel leak and were able to tighten the bolt
and replace the O-ring for the inlet pipe that was responsible for the leak.
In terms of Violation #204 which read:
An approved copy of the monitoring plans were not available for inspection. A copy of these plans shall be
accesible on site at all times. Immediately locate and retain a copy on site.
I have posted the monitoring site plan on the board along with the rest of certificates for this location. I have
also informed staff where it is located for future inspections.
Let me know if the provided info suffices for those violations and thank you again for your help over the
phone!
Jhoann Romero
Administrative Assistant
Gill Fuels Incorporated
2420 W.
