(Aegis) proposes the following work plan to conduct a Limited <br /> Additional Site Assessment at the subject site (Figure 1). The purpose of the proposed <br /> work plan is to further define the lateral and vertical extent of petroleum hydrocarbons in <br /> soil and groundwater beneath the site. The site investigation would include the drilling <br /> and sampling of three soil borings to be completed as groundwater monitoring wells. <br /> Additionally, it is proposed to reconstruct the existing MW-1A as a 6-inch diameter <br /> groundwater monitoring/vapor extraction well by over-coring and reconstruction. <br /> The proposed work is based on a detailed review of prior work performed at the site by <br /> previous consultants and recent groundwater monitoring (Aegis Quarterly Monitorin <br /> Report, dated 29 March 1991). Further information was provided to Aegis by the San <br /> Joaquin County Public Health Services Department (SJCPHSD) and Moore Petroleum, <br /> Inc. This work plan is subject to modifications as newly acquired information may <br /> warrant.
