Tile total depth of each well was
35 and 36 feet, respectively. Ground water samples were collected from the three existing monitoring
_ wells MW-1,MW-2 and MW-3. Water samples were analyzed using EPA Me-tbod 524.2 for BTFX,EDC,
EDB,and TPH. Results are pr.rented in 'fable 2. Laboratory rel:.orts are presented in Appendix I3.
Ground water samples from MW-2 contained the highest level of petrolei;im hydrocarbon constituent with
0.008 ppm benzene, and. 0.2 ppm TPFL- MW-1 contained the lov.cst concentrations of petroleum
hydrocarbon constituents. Chemical analytical results or ground water samples collected from MW-1
indicated all parameters analyzed were below detection limits.
- 4.0 DISCUSSION
4.1 Extent of Petroleum Hydrocarbon Constituents In Sail
Small amounts of petroleum hydrocarbon constituents (<0.3 ppm benzene and X100 ppm TPH) were
.___found-in soil-borings_-MW-1-and_MW-3_(Table-1).--These concentrations_are-less than the_guidelines________
?--
presented in the Lealxing Underground Fuel Tank manual (California Department of Water Resources,
1
