Development water was stored on site in
55-gallon drums.
—' Approximately 25 gallons of water were evacuated from each well. Electrical conductivity was monitored
and recorded for each well. When the turbidity of discharge waters and!or measurement parameter
stabilized, well development was designated as complete. Development records for each well are included
in Appendix C.
6.4 Ground Wates 3amaline
Ground water samples were collected from all monitoring wells, A wells were sampled using the dedicated
pump described above in Section 6.3. Because the dedicated pump is not removed from the weIllpossible
cross contamination during sampling is avoided.
Each well was purged by pumping three wetted casing volumes of ground water before actual sample
collection. A Iabel was placed on each sample. This label contained the well number, time and date
of sampling, and any special instructions. Appropriate chain-okustody forms were completed and placed
with the samples which were chilled and delivered to Central Coast Analytical Laboratory, Inc.,San Louis
Obispo,California. Ground water samples from the monitoring wells were analyzed for BTEX and TPH
by EPA Method 524.2-
6.5 Water Level Measurements
Water level measurements made in September and October with an electrically operated water level
indicator and recorded to the nearest 0.01 foot are reported in Table 6.
3
