This report presents the results of quarterly groundwater monitoring completed by Aegis Environmental, Inc. (Aegis),at the operating gasoline service station located at 1399 East Yosemite Avenue, Manteca, San Joaquin County, California (Figure 1). The reporting period was from February through April 1991. 1 1 purpose and So pe The purpose of the ongoing monitoring of the existing groundwater monitoring wells was to provide information regarding groundwater quality and hydrogeologic conditions beneath the subject site. The scope of the monitoring was to: - o Collect groundwater level data on a monthly basis; o Sample groundwater from each well once during the quarter; o Submit water samples to a California-cerci ted laboratory for analytical testing; and ,... o Analyze the data and prepare a report. 1.2 Site Location and Descrl tion The subject site is located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Northwoods and East Yosemite Avenues in the City of Manteca, California (Figure 2). The site is located in a commercial area of eastern Manteca. The site is bound on the north by a small shopping complex, on the west by a fast food restaurant, on the south by East Yosemite Avenue and on the east by Northwoods Avenue. 1.3 gggMround ' The property was purchased from Exxon approximately 13 years ago by Moore Petroleum, Inc. The site is currently leased from Moore Petroleum by Mr. Frank Guinta, Jr., who has operated a mini-mart/retail gasoline station at the site for the past 12 years. Aegis assumed quarterly monitoring responsibilities in February 1991. Work performed at the site by previous consultants included investigations by Earth Treatment Systems, Inc. (E T S), Delta Environmental Consultants, Inc. (Delta), and Nations Groundwater Associates (NGA). sa-o�s.riaT 1
