RNAL REM®IAT10N PLAN <br /> 1399 East Yosemite Avenue Manteca California <br /> ! 1 Q INTRODUCTION <br /> This report documents results of soil vent and aquifer testing conducted by Aegis <br /> ' Environmental, Inc (Aegis), and presents a design for a remediation system to be <br /> installed at 1399 East Yosemite Avenue in Manteca, California (Figure 1) The aquifer <br /> testing was completed in July 1991 and the soil vent tests were completed in <br /> ' September 1991 The site is currently occupied by Frank's Exxon #2, an operating <br /> gasoline station This report is based, in part, on information obtained by Aegis from <br /> Moore Petroleum, Inc , Nations Groundwater Associates (NGA), Earth Treatment Systems <br /> ' (ETS), and Delta Environmental Consultants, Inc (Delta), and is subject to modification <br /> as newly acquired information may warrant <br /> ' 1 1 _Purpose <br /> The purpose of the current phase of the project is to <br /> ! • document existing soil and h drogeo1 <br /> og c conditions, <br /> ' analyze the available data to define design parameters for the remediation <br /> of petroleum hydrocarbons in sod and groundwater, and, <br /> • present a remediation system design <br /> 12 Scope <br /> The completed scope of work is outlined below Methods used in the investigation and <br /> ' a detailed discussion of the work completed are presented in subsequent sections <br /> • Data regarding the subsurface sod and hydrogeologic conditions, including <br /> ! soil classification and analysis of sods for petroleum hydrocarbons, collected <br /> by previous consultants and from a site investigation by Aegis, were <br /> reviewed and summarized <br /> • Aquifer analysis ("slug") tests were performed <br /> • Sod vent tests were performed <br /> • The test data was evaluated and a final remediation plan was prepared <br /> !
