r rr <br /> Addendum to Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> and Remediation Status Report dated August 21,1995 <br /> Moore Petroleum, 1399 E Yosemrte Ave,Manteca,CA <br /> September 15,1995 <br /> Page 3 <br /> The carbon adsorption system was morally configured to extract vapors from MW-1B Vapor <br /> samples were collected from the system influent and effluent on July 5, 1995 to demonstrate <br /> compliance with SJVUAPCD Permit The vapor samples were submitted, under chain-of- <br /> custody, to Sparger Technology, Inc , of Sacramento, Cahforma, a state-certified analytical <br /> laboratory The samples were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons, as gasoline(TPHg), <br /> and benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes(BTEX) Both the influent and effluent vapor <br /> samples reported below detection limits for TPHg and BTEX <br /> On July 18, 1995 the horizontal piping was configured into the vapor extraction system such that <br /> vapors were bemg extracted from both the horizontal piping and MW-1B On July 25, 1995 <br /> vapor samples were collected for analysis from MW-1B and also from the horizontal piping <br /> Both samples indicated below laboratory detection limits for TPHg and BTEX Upon receiving <br /> the analytical results from the sampling event which occurred on Jul , 1995, the carbon <br /> adsorption system was turned off on�1 1995 At this time, the vapor extraction system was <br /> pulsed on periodically and monitored with a flame ionization detector(FID)in an attempt to <br /> remove any remammg hydrocarbons in the sods <br /> .
