A black 55 gallon drum of liquid waste <br /> contaminated with gas behind the facility did not have a start accumulation date. Since it cannot be determined how <br /> long the hazardous waste has been on site, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of <br /> this waste under manifest. Submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> A black 55 gallon drum of liquid waste contaminated with gas behind the facility did not have a start accumulation <br /> date, hazardous property listed, and incorrectly labeled as oily water. All hazardous waste containers shall be <br /> marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties <br /> - physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> - accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> Bills of lading for the recycling of used fuel filters for the last three years were not found on site. A copy of each bill <br /> of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading for used oil <br /> filters for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by October 22, 2016 . <br /> Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials <br /> information online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov. Be <br /> sure to include your hazardous waste activity in the Businesses Activities section in CERS in addition to any <br /> other relevant activities and required fields. <br /> Notes: <br /> - The facility generates gas mixed with water and solids contaminated with gas <br /> - The facility did not have an emergency coordinator.
