In an <br /> effort to ensure that all registration packages are processed in a timely manner and that the hauler <br /> certificates and decals can be mailed out and received by the recipient prior to January 1, 2014,the <br /> renewal anylications must be received by CalRecycle no later than November 16 2013. Please remember <br /> that it is your responsibility to ensure that your waste tire surety bond is kept current or this may cause <br /> further delay in the issuance of your 2014 registration. <br /> CalRecycle staff and its representatives will be conducting surveillance activities on tire haulers that fail <br /> to renew their registration before the January 1 deadline and have been cancelled for 2014. If your <br /> registration is cancelled and you continue to haul waste or used tires, you will be subject to punitive <br /> actions by CalRecycle. <br /> Transporting waste or used tires without a valid registration is a violation of Public Resource Code(PRC) <br /> § 42951 as referenced below and is punishable by civil fines of up to$25,000 per violation per day. <br /> PRC 42951.
