You will note all references to STI SP001 have been omitted and replaced with the
equivalent 3rd-party industry standards.
Furthermore, we/SPC Corp will be advising:
1. Maxim Crane may proceed with the removal/replacement of the 10,000 gallon UST-as-an-AST which
they intend to replace with a 4000-gallon ConVault AST. This unit will be tested in accordance with
Standards outlined in the existing spice plan, as you stipulated. All issues will be reviewed by Maxim's
spcc plan PE.
2. Haley Flying will replace the 1000-gallon singlewall AST and will provide documentation regarding the
mobile refuelers as certified by DOT/CHP. In addition, references to waste oil/waste coolant tanks
which were added to inventory after the spcc plan will now be included in the facility gallonage;finally,
several out-of-service ASTs will be properly designated per Fire Code requirements as"out-of-
service". All issues will be reviewed and certified by our PE.
In closing, both clients have agreed that the timeline for completing these compliance measures will be by the
end of August of 2019. Thank you again for your patience and guidance in these issues.
D.Paul McWhorter,CEO
SPC Corporation
From: Ruvalcaba,Cesar<cruvalcaba@sjgov.org>
Sent:Thursday,August 8,2019 2:37 PM
To: DPaul<spccorp@hotmail.com>
Subject: RE: Update(s):a) Maxim Crane and b) Haley's Flying Service
Hi Paul,
I will be in the office for the rest of the day.
