These tests are required once every 12 months . Take all necessary <br /> precautions to ensure testing is performed in a timely manner . <br /> The operator provided a statement to close this part of the violation while the inspector was on site . <br /> 2 ) When the inspector arrived on site , the service technician had indicated that he conducted the leak detector test <br /> for the 100 octane and 110 octane product tank . When the inspector asked how the test was conducted since the <br /> amount of fuel in both tanks was low, the service technician ( Felix Ramirez ) stated the the automatic tank gauge <br /> was removed from the tank to move the float to a higher level in order to " override" the system to allow the turbine <br /> run . The service technician ran the leak detector test for the 100 octane and 110 octane product tanks with the <br /> automatic tank gauge outside the tanks and not in operating conditions . Based on code section 2638 ( a ) "All <br /> monitoring equipment used to satisfy the requirements of this article shall be installed , <br /> calibrated , operated and maintained in accordance with manufacturer' s instructions , and certified every 12 months <br /> for operability, proper operating condition , and proper calibration " . Ensure to perform leak detection test on 100 <br /> octane and 110 octane schedule this test , providing a 48 hour notice to EHD while the 100 octane and 110 octane <br /> tanks are in operating condition upon fuel delivery within 30 days from receiving this amended report . <br /> This is a repeat violation , Class II . <br /> 113 CCR 2638 (c) , 2638 (d ) Failure to submit " Monitoring System Certification Form" within 30 days of completion of the <br /> test . <br /> Annual monitoring system certification , leak detector testing , and spill container testing was performed on 9/ 19/ 17 <br /> and a test report was submitted on 3 /23/ 18 , 6 months late . A copy of the test report must be submitted within 30 <br /> days of the tests .
