This e-mail contains the status of the Minor—Notice to Comply items
contained within the Hazardous Waste Inspection Report completed on May 11th, 2011.
Item 7 (A)
STATUS: COMPLETE
Please see 3M 583 Adhesive MSDS and datasheet. It is not considered a Hazardous Waste and is being recycled
via local waste service. Please see attached MSDS and datasheet (Item 7A- 1 and 2)
Item 7 (B)
STATUS: COMPLETE
Received a phone message from Aris Cacapit on 05/31/11 indicating that the linen service is exempt from
Hazardous Waste Management regulations. The linen service resumed on 05/31/11. Please see attached info
from Aramark(Item 713—1 and 2)
Item 20
STATUS: COMPLETE
The drum of Hazardous Waste within the Haz Waste Storage was removed for the Hazardous Waste Storage
area on 05/16/11 on manifest 003931111 FLE. Please see attached scan of the manifest and invoice (Item 20- 1
and 2).
Item 27
STATUS: COMPLETE
The Haz Waste drum in the Screen Prep room is now properly labeled and secure with a bung. Please see
attached picture (Item 27#1)
Item 60 and 63
STATUS: INCOMPLETE (scheduled for completion by 06/30/11)
The Used Oil was located within the Maintenance room. It is collected in a 5 gal container labeled "Used Oil"
and taken to a nearby Waste Management collection site located on Turner Rd. According to Rob Krager
(Equipment Engineer) is takes approximately 1.5 years to accumulate 5 gallons of Used Oil. Unfortunately,
Lustre-Cal did not receive receipts when recycling the oil over the past three years. Rob was instructed to "place
it in the collection container" when brought to Waste Management. He did not think to ask for a receipt. We
have not yet received confirmation from Waste Management that a receipt will be provided, therefore, the
Used Oil has not been recycled as of yet. Please see attached picture (Item 60 and 63 #1)
Item 79
7/1/2011
