Section Number: 2-1 <br />Issue Date: 05/06/2010 <br />Revision Date: <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />1-1 ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY <br />Overview <br />ARAMARK Uniform Services is committed to compliance with all applicable Local, State, and Federal <br />environmental laws and regulations. <br />Key Points <br />All ARAMARK Uniform Services managers are responsible for the environmental compliance of the <br />operations under their control. <br />ARAMARK Uniform Services is committed to being a good neighbor and corporate citizen through <br />responsible use of natural resources and promoting environmental stewardship within our company and <br />community. <br />ARAMARK Corporate Policy <br />It is ARAMARK's policy to comply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws <br />in all countries in which ARAMARK conducts business. <br />ARAMARK employees will strive at all times to conduct business operations in a manner that is <br />protective of the natural environment and human health and safety. <br />ARAMARK strives to provide each employee with a safe and healthy work environment. Each <br />employee is responsible for contributing to and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for all <br />employees by following safety and health rules, policies and practices, and reporting accidents, <br />injuries and unsafe equipment, practices and conditions. <br />Application <br />Environmental Compliance applies to all of the following areas: Wastewater discharge, surface water run- <br />off, solid and liquid waste disposal, air emissions, hazardous soil accounts, site contamination and spill <br />prevention, hazardous material communication (worker and community right to know) underground tank <br />systems, and any other area which has the potential to affect or impact the natural environment, and to <br />associated data collection, recordkeeping and reporting requirements. <br />ARAMARK employees shall at all times comply with all federal, state and local laws, statues ordinances <br />and regulations relating to the environment and to policy and procedures as set forth in the ARAMARK <br />Uniform Services Environmental Compliance Manual and to new directives as communicated by the <br />ARAMARK corporate staff. <br />Certification <br />All General Managers are required to annually certify their receipt, understanding and acceptance of this <br />policy. <br />
