Contact the state <br />environmental department to determine their particular requirements. There is often a fee that must <br />accompany this notification. <br />• States require regular reporting of disposal of hazardous waste. This reporting ranges from quarterly <br />to annual. Often there is a fee involved. <br />Maintain all documentation of generation, analysis, transportation and disposal of wastes. <br />Waste Disposal <br />• Hazardous waste must be incinerated at a licensed hazardous waste disposal facility. <br />• Hazardous waste must be transported by a licensed hazardous waste transportation company. <br />• Non -hazardous special waste may be recycled, landfilled, or incinerated. <br />• Land application/farming of waste is prohibited. <br />
