In San Joaquin County, the dewatering well for
construction is exempt from SJC Well Standard except in the known contamination area per San Joaquin County
Development Title 9-1115.5. Upon further review, there is MTBE plume on 15135 Eight Mile Rd, H & H Marina,
and it is under the cleanup and abatement order by California Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB),
Central Valley Region. The contact person for this project at RWQCB is Brian Taylor @ (916)464-4615. Please
contact him and obtain RWQCB's approval. SJCEHD can not approve the installation of any dewatering wells for
this project without RWQCB's approval.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.
Thanks,
Steven C.
