Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:There are numerous dry and fresh rat droppings throughout the facility: on top of canned goods at the <br /> dry goods storage area, on top of bulk ingredient bins, on top of the dish machine, on top of the hot water heater, on <br /> shelving, underneath the soda machine, inside dry goods storage bins, at the room divider closet, behind the 2 door Pepsi <br /> QBD refrigerator, underneath wok stations, and on the gas line behind cooking equipment. <br /> Facility is closed at 12 noon. <br /> Immediately clean up all rat droppings throughout the facility.Any open food item with rat droppings in it shall be discarded. <br /> Clean and sanitize all surfaces that have rat droppings on them. <br /> Spoke with pest control representative from Capable Pest Control (209-390-3956). He states that he was at the facility 2 <br /> weeks ago and has positioned numerous enclosed bait boxes and glue boards throughout the facility where activity was <br /> observed. Observed two bait boxes on top of the walk-in cooler, one underneath a dry goods storage shelf. Pest control rep <br /> states he will visit the facility tomorrow morning. <br /> Observed three live German cockroaches in the kitchen (one on the floor and one adult and one juvenile in a bucket by the <br /> BBQ oven and mop sink). Numerous dead cockroaches were observed. <br /> Immediately clean up all dead roaches, clean and sanitize the affected areas. <br /> Use only commercial grade/food safe products. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin:rodents(rats,mice), cockroaches,flies.(114259.1, 114259.4, <br /> 114259.5) <br /> #6 Handwashing Facilities Supplied and Accessible <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The paper towel dispenser at the kitchen hand sink is empty. Refill the paper towel dispenser today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Handwashing soap and towels or drying device shall be provided in dispensers dispensers shall be <br /> maintained in good repair.
