Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed multiple rodent droppings in the wall space between the beverage counter and the office.Also <br /> observed dried rodent droppings on the counter tops under the beverage dispensers(Frazil machine, Pepsi fountain drink, <br /> coffee pots, etc.). Clean up rodent droppings today. Move all equipment, clean and sanitize the areas. Remove older glue <br /> boards and replace with new glue boards. Monitor area daily for new activity. Snap traps or enclosed bait boxes may also be <br /> used. <br /> Provide copies of pest control invoices to inspector via e-mail (Kadeanne Linhares klinhares@sjcehd.com) <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin:rodents(rats,mice), cockroaches,flies.(114259.1, 114259.4, <br /> 114259.5) <br /> #45 Floors,Walls, Ceilings; Clean and Maintained <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed a broken coving tile behind the cookie rack(south window,to the left of the 2 door Bev Air <br /> cooler). Re-attach/replace broken coving tile by 2 weeks. <br /> At routine inspection, GM mentioned that a vehicle had come into the facility and cabinetry and wall damages were incurred. <br /> Repair damages as soon as possible (damages and openings covered by smooth FRP-like sheeting on the customer side <br /> and plastic sheeting on the office side). <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The walls/ceilings shall have durable,smooth,nonabsorbent,light-colored,and washable surfaces. All floor <br /> surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br /> cleanable.Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas,except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br /> unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair.
