Paul Nso [EH]
From: Elena K. Manzo [EH]
Sent: Tuesday, January 29, 2019 9:48 AM
To: Paul Nso [EH]
Subject: FW:Amended 85 E Louise MSC and routine UST inspection report
Here is my response to his email for your information.
Elena
From: Elena K. Manzo [EH]
Sent:Tuesday,January 29, 2019 9:46 AM
To: 'Lee, Daryl' <DARYL.LEE@bp.com>
Subject: RE: Amended 85 E Louise MSC and routine UST inspection report
Hi Daryl
Thank you very much for your follow up email as well as all the additional documentation.
Item#121—This item remained open since Betty's inspection and was still a violation when I arrived onsite for the 2019
inspection, components that make this system water tight were missing. That was the reason why no return to
compliance violation was written, because it was still not corrected not because RTC was sent in late on 3-12-2018.
Item #306—based on your maintenance record this was corrected by installing the Veeder Root's provided sensor strap.
The reason this violation was written was because unlike other sumps (where these sensor sleeves were also installed)
in this sump it was positioned further away from the sump wall and not its installation designed to detect a leak at the
earliest opportunity. We are not requiring sensors to be angled, however, if there is a space between the sensor and the
sump wall that sensor should be relocated closer.
I hope that answered your questions. Please be sure to provide an RTC form and a brief sensense for each outstanding
violation. Please don't hesitate to call me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Elena K. Manzo, Lead Sr. REHS,
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 E. Hazelton Ave.
Stockton, CA 95205-6232
Voice: (209) 953-7699
From: Lee, Daryl<DARYL.LEE@bp.com>
Sent: Sunday,January 27, 2019 8:04 PM
To: Elena K. Manzo [EH] <emanzo@slcehd.com>
Subject: RE: Amended 85 E Louise MSC and routine UST inspection report
Hello Elena,
I confirm receipt and have a few questions:
Item#121—Betty Ho had amended her inspection report two times, 2/1/2018 and 2/13/2018, please see
attached. Therefore I had until 3/13/2018 to respond with RTC. I sent her the RTC on 3/12/2018, within the required
1
