ORDERED RICE, <br /> CHOW MEIN AND FRIED CHICKEN TO GO. COMPLAINANT PUT FOOD IN REFRIGERATOR WHEN THEY GO TO <br /> WORK AND HAD FOR 5:00 PM BREAK. COMPLAINANT STATES WHEN THEY BIT INTO THE FRIED CHICKEN, LIVE <br /> MAGGOTS CAME OUT OF THE CHICKEN. PLEASE CALL COMPLAINANT WITH FINDINGS. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> Upon arrival I spoke with the management on site and asked if anyone has heard of any complaint similar to this manner. <br /> Management stated they have not and invited me to conduct my inspection. Upon inspection I was informed that the meat is <br /> defrosted over night in the cooler, inside of a tub or bin with water. From here the meat is cut into portions the following <br /> morning and marinated. Only the amount of meat is needed is marinated before it is placed in a deep fryer. From here the <br /> meat is then placed in a steam table with heating lamps to keep the food hot before purchased.An associate stated that the <br /> chicken does not stay on the steam table for too long, no more then 20 minutes due to the consumers that purchase the <br /> chicken.
