Mr. Neal Patel stated that the container was on site since last year when the contractors were <br /> out on site working with the dispensers. He stated that they have not disposed of the container because it was not <br /> full yet. <br /> Observed a blue container(<55 gallon)with a hazardous waste label in the waste storage area with an <br /> accumulation date of 2/29/2016. Mr. Neal Patel stated that the container was not full yet so they did not have to take <br /> away. <br /> Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste <br /> stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste <br /> hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> Observed a blue container(<55 gallon)with a hazardous waste label in the waste storage area with no <br /> accumulation date. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. <br /> Since these containers have been on site longer than 180 days, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste <br /> hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by December 1, 2017. <br /> Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials <br /> information online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
