C . Trucking, 1207 South Aurora Street, <br /> i Stockton,- California. <br /> Dear Mr. DeWitt : <br /> Enclosed please find, analytical results of soil samples <br /> collected 04 May, 1992 , during the excavation of four 3 , 000 <br /> gallon gasoline storage tanks . The four tanks were removed; <br /> two samples per tank (plus two samples from two soil <br /> stockpiles) collected and as requested by Sa'n Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department, analyzed for: Total <br /> Petroleum Fuel Hydrocarbons with BTEX Distinction, <br /> Halogenated Volatile Organics, and Total' Lead. <br /> f . <br /> Soil samples were collected from undistu�rbedlsoil two feet <br /> below the tank at each end of the tank and from excavated <br /> soil piles . <br /> 1. Groundwater was not observed during removal of the tank and <br /> is suspected to be approximately sixty feet .below sea level <br /> j (Department of Water Resources, Lines of Equal Elevation of <br /> Water in Wells, San Joaquin District, Spring, 1990) . <br /> it <br /> Soil samples were transported on ice from site to a state <br /> certified laboratory . Certified Analytical Reports and Chain <br /> of Custody Record are included in Appendix A.
