4.0 FIELD INVESTIGATION <br /> 4.1 DRILLING PERMIT <br /> Prior to drilling, ENCON submitted a drilling application with the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department (SJCEHD). The SJCEHD approved the permit on October 24, 2013. A copy of the <br /> permit is included in Appendix B. <br /> 4.2 FIELD INVESTIGATION <br /> On November 25, 2013, a geophysical survey was performed at the Property. The survey was completed <br /> by Cruz Brothers, Inc., Scotts Valley California. The purpose of the survey was to identify subsurface <br /> utilities, excavation backfill areas, and attempt to locate any former USTs locations. A combination of <br /> electromagnetic induction (EM), magnetometry, and ground penetrating radar (GPR) were applied to the <br /> search. A utility locator with line tracing capabilities was also brought to the field and used where risers <br /> exist onto which a signal could be impressed and traced. <br /> No significant anomalies indicating buried structures were detected.
