Preacquisition Environmental Site Assessment March 17, 1992
Anheuser-Busch, Arch Road, Stockton, California 3
The preliminary soil survey for San Joaquin County shows that the soils which overlie these flood-
plain deposits consist of Clear Lake Clay, Jacktone Clay and hardpan. These units consists of clay,
silty clay, silty clay loam, and clay loam. These soils have low permeability, moderate water
capacity, and high shrink-swell potential (expansive clay). A copy of the preliminary soil survey was
obtained from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service in Stockton, California
(Appendix A).
