The groundwater monitoring purge logs are presented in Appendix A 3 3 LABORATORY ANALYSIS AND RESULTS Fourteen groundwater samples were submitted for analyses to Pace Analytical of Long Beach, California, a State of California-certified hazardous waste analytical laboratory The samples were analyzed by the following methods EPA 8015 modified - Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Gasoline (TPH-G) o EPA 8015 modified - Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Diesel (TPH-D) EPA 8020 - Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and total Xylenes (BTEX), and Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (MTBE) o EPA 8260 - Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), and Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (MTBE) Additionally, Tertiary Butyl Alcohol (TBA), Di-Isopropyl Ether (DIPE), Ethyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (ETBE), and Tertiary Methyl Ether (TAME) were analyzed EPA Method 8260 detected none of these compounds A summa of the laboratory results for groundwater samples is resented in Table 1 A summary ry g p p copy of the laboratory reports and chain-of-custody records are presented in Appendix B The following are the results of the groundwater sampling o MTBE was not detected in any of the samples except from Well VW-1 (55 pg/1) o None of the groundwater samples analyzed contained detectable concentrations of TPH-D TPH-G concentrations were detected in 4 of the 14 groundwater samples (MW-13, VW-1, VM-1 , and VM-2) Detectable concentrations ranged from 2,200 to 42,000 pg/l The concentrations have generally increased since the previous quarterly sampling event 1 o BTEX concentrations were detected in 7 of the 14 groundwater-monitonng wells (MW- 12 through MW-14, MW-26, VW-1, VM-1, and VM-2) Detectable concentrations of benzene ranged from 9 2 to 9,600 pgll The concentrations have generally increased since the previous quarterly sampling event 3 F TransfeftFteportlCALTRAN51Calty0971710171gm398fin
