The groundwater monitoring purge logs are presented in Appendix A <br /> 3 3 LABORATORY ANALYSIS AND RESULTS <br /> Fourteen groundwater samples were submitted for analyses to Pace Analytical of Long <br /> Beach, California, a State of California-certified hazardous waste analytical laboratory <br /> The samples were analyzed by the following methods <br /> EPA 8015 modified - Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Gasoline (TPH-G) <br /> o EPA 8015 modified - Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Diesel (TPH-D) <br /> EPA 8020 - Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and total Xylenes (BTEX), and Methyl <br /> Tertiary Butyl Ether (MTBE) <br /> o EPA 8260 - Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), and Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether <br /> (MTBE) <br /> Additionally, Tertiary Butyl Alcohol (TBA), Di-Isopropyl Ether (DIPE), Ethyl Tertiary Butyl <br /> Ether (ETBE), and Tertiary Methyl Ether (TAME) were analyzed EPA Method 8260 <br /> detected none of these compounds <br /> A summa of the laboratory results for groundwater samples is resented in Table 1 A <br /> summary ry g p p <br /> copy of the laboratory reports and chain-of-custody records are presented in Appendix B <br /> The following are the results of the groundwater sampling <br /> o MTBE was not detected in any of the samples except from Well VW-1 (55 pg/1) <br /> o None of the groundwater samples analyzed contained detectable concentrations of <br /> TPH-D <br /> TPH-G concentrations were detected in 4 of the 14 groundwater samples (MW-13, <br /> VW-1, VM-1 , and VM-2) Detectable concentrations ranged from 2,200 to 42,000 pg/l <br /> The concentrations have generally increased since the previous quarterly sampling <br /> event <br /> 1 o BTEX concentrations were detected in 7 of the 14 groundwater-monitonng wells (MW- <br /> 12 through MW-14, MW-26, VW-1, VM-1, and VM-2) Detectable concentrations of <br /> benzene ranged from 9 2 to 9,600 pgll The concentrations have generally increased <br /> since the previous quarterly sampling event <br /> 3 <br /> F TransfeftFteportlCALTRAN51Calty0971710171gm398fin <br />
