Since the proposed startup
date is a little over a week from now, and there is a greater benefit for the Cleanup Fund money
spent with continuous operation of the groundwater pump and treatment system, I do not concur with
the increased frequency for batch groundwater extraction. Please continue the weekly batch
groundwater extraction until the NPDES-permitted discharge begins. Thank you for your suggestion.
Jim Barton
James L.L. Mr.
Negrete already has the new permit application.
In the interim, additional groundwater batch extraction events are recommended. If you agree,
i
